Amber Jarrett joined the committee at the 2023 AGM and leads the Outreach and Education Working Group, at the 2025 AGM Amber was elected into the WiR Secretarial role.
Amber Jarrett
Amber Jarrett is a Principal Advisor and geologist with over a decade of experience in resource potential of the Northern Territory. Amber completed her PhD in 2014 and has worked as a geologist at Geoscience Australia in Canberra, and the Northern Territory Geological Survey in Darwin, before turning to the world of governance and policy in 2022. Amber currently works at the Minerals Council of Australia NT Division as Principal Policy Advisor, and also volunteers as the National President of the Geological Society of Australia and a member of the Australian Geoscience Council advocating for greater gender equity in STEM and greater accessibility of resources in remote parts of the NT.
