Cara Burke is a Principal Corporate Affairs Advisor with INPEX based in Darwin. Cara joined the WiR Committee in 2019, and became the Member Liaison at the AGM later that year, as well as here Liaison role, Cara is on the IWD Working Group.

Cara Burke is a Principal Corporate Affairs Advisor with INPEX based in Darwin, leading strategic community investment and partnerships, stakeholder engagement as well as local media and communications for INPEX in the NT. Cara is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years working in various strategic communications and engagement-based roles across a variety of industries such as agriculture, local government, natural resource management, world-class construction and energy. As a member of the INPEX Reconciliation Action Plan working group and a committee member of Women in Resources NT, Cara is a strong advocate for diversity in the workplace. Passionate about local content opportunities for Territorians, she is a proud member with the Energy Club NT, the NT Chamber of Commerce and The International Association for Public Participation Australasia. Having called the Territory home for more than a decade, Cara is excited about the opportunities the NT has to offer and is passionate about seeing local people and businesses thrive.
