Kate joined Women in Resources in 2013, and in December 2016 was elected Vice Chair, and became Chair in 2017. Since 2017 she has led the organisation’s annual awards & the association’s key objectives for inclusion, representation & engagement of women in the NT’s resource sector.
Kate Finch
Kate is a Darwin based consultant, who works with community, industry and business organisations to engage with their clients (existing and future) and community through their commercial relations and interactions. Kate has a strong history in building strong commercial relationships through her various careers in hospitality management and as the Business Development and Marketing Lead for GHD in the NT. In 2013 Kate joined Women in Resources, and was elected Vice Chair in December 2016. In 2017 she became Chair. Since 2017 she has led the organisation’s annual awards & the association’s key objectives for inclusion, representation & engagement of women in the NT’s resource sector. In 2018 she became a judge for the national awards, and a member of both the national & international women in mining leadership groups. In 2021 Kate became the joint co-lead of the International Women in Mining’s inclusive workplace design policy framework.
