Tracy Jones
Chair
Tracy joined the WiR committee as Vice Chair at the 2020 AGM, and led the governance and constitution review working group. At the 2023 AGM Tracy was elected Chair, Tracy has also held the Audit and Risk Working Group since 2025.
Tracy Jones
Tracy has a background in public relations and community engagement. She worked in Government and ran her own successful public relations consultancy before joining McArthur River Mine in 2012, where she is currently Communities and Social Performance Superintendent. Her responsibilities include community engagement, social performance, cultural heritage management and Indigenous employment. Working FIFO on an operating mine site, Tracy understands the opportunities and challenges for women working in the resources sector. She mentors a number of women on the mine site and is passionate about celebrating women and supporting each other to achieve professional goals. She is a Life Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
