
2016 The 2nd Annual Women in Resources Northern Territory Awards
Nominations are now open for the 2nd Annual Women in Resources Northern Territory Awards. The GEMCO Awards Dinner will be held in Darwin on Saturday 28 May 2016 and will recognise, promote and celebrate the achievements of women, men and companies who make outstanding contributions toward a more diverse workforce.
The Women in Resources Northern Territory Awards form part of the Australian resources sector’s strategies to promote the benefits of increasing the participation of women at all levels.
The sector recognises that diversity not only helps to ensure it has the skilled employees it needs but also improves business outcomes via the proven benefits of a more inclusive and gender balanced workforce.
Nominations are now open and the categories you can nominate yourself, an employee or someone who deserves recognition in this sector are:
- Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance
- Outstanding Tradeswoman, Technician or Operator
- Exceptional Young Woman in Resources
- Exceptional Woman in Resources
- Gender Diversity Champion
